Performance monitoring and testing solution provider Apica Systems has announced that it has raised $12.7 million in new funding. The funding was acquired by existing investors Industrifonden, SEB Venture Capital, Oxx and KTH Chalmers Capital.

The funding will be used to grow product offerings, expand its talent base, and increase its global market share, Apica explained.

According to Apica, its customers realize the following benefits:

  • Monitoring and testing infrastructure is built to ensure application reliability at scale.
  • The scripting engine can handle complex user-scenarios from many different web-enabled devices.
  • A 24/7 global help-desk and advanced support, end-to-end professional services, technical account management, and full-service load testing and scripting.

“This new round of funding from our existing investors expresses their confidence in us and the momentum we have achieved to date,” said Sven Hammar, CEO of Apica. This investment will support the expansion of our teams in North America and Globally to address the challenges enterprise organizations face in managing complex applications.”
