Log management solution provider LogDNA has announced new performance and usability updates designed to help users query, filter and gain insight from log data as well as identify and resolve performance  issues.

“The complexity of developing, deploying and scaling applications is exponentially more complicated today than even just a few months ago, and the amount of data even small teams deal with on a daily basis is becoming untenable,” said Peter Cho, Vice President of Product Management at LogDNA. “We are constantly evolving LogDNA to empower developers to tame the chaos generated by ever-increasing data volumes and quickly surface the insights hidden in their logs.”

New features include:

  • Agent v2 for monitoring log files, directory changes, CPU utilization, improved stability and accuracy, and the removal of duplicate lines
  • Hourly archiving for receiving archived logs faster and unzipping a portion of logs instead of a day’s worth
  • Extract and aggregate fields that allow users to extract, aggregate and export fields from log lines
  • Custom webhooks for integrating LogDNA alerts with third-party services like Jira or Microsoft teams
