IT vendors are constantly trying to add more and more AI features to their platforms to help IT operations teams be more efficient and productive. Here are several of those updates from the past month.

ArmorCode introduces Anya, its agentic AI solution for security teams

The point of Anya was to create a conversational, virtual security champion that can look at data from hundreds of code, app, cloud and infrastructure scans to provide insights that lead to action.

“Anya is a governance layer over the scanners,” Mark Lambert, chief product officer at ArmorCode, told ITOps Times from the RSA Conference. “It can create tickets, automate alert communications and provide quicker insight into the root cause of an event.”

ArmorCode introduced AI-powered scanning tool correlation, remediation guidance, and PenTest management in 2024, and Anya builds on that by adding natural language intelligence and delivering insights that adapt to a person’s role.

CrowdStrike announces Falcon Adversary OverWatch

Falcon Adversary OverWatch integrates intelligence data feeds with AI automation to enable more advanced threat detection in the Falcon platform. It monitors for threats across all attack surfaces, including endpoints, identity, and cloud.

Additionally, the company revealed Charlotte AI Agentic Response and Charlotte AI Agentic Workflows. Charlotte AI Agentic Response automatically asks the kinds of investigative questions an experienced security analyst would ask. Charlotte AI Agentic Workflows can be integrated into automated playbooks to enhance them with AI reasoning, such as using AI to determine whether a device should be contained based on company policies.

1Password adds new capability to enable AI agents to securely access and manage secrets

The company announced an SDK for Agentic AI within Extended Access Management to allow developers to enable the AI agents they build to securely read, write, share, and rotate secrets.

“AI agents have the potential to be a massive accelerator of productivity and innovation, but only if we can secure and govern their access to enterprise data and systems. Agentic AI doesn’t just analyze data; it acts. It takes initiative, interfaces with sensitive systems, and carries out workflows independently. And since existing enterprise applications were designed for human usability, the AI agents will need to be able to execute human-like activities such as logging into systems to perform work,” said David Faugno, co-CEO of 1Password.

Sumo Logic announces new AI-powered threat detection capabilities

The latest capabilities combine telemetry, context, automation, and AI to enable companies to best protect against modern AI-powered attacks.

The updates include the ability to use multiple intelligence feeds, UEBA historical baselining, and AI-driven Insight Summaries from log and detection data. It is also introducing “Detection-as-Code,” which applies software development practices to threat detection, like testing, refining, and deploying detection logic at scale.

Palo Alto Networks secures AI ecosystem with launch of Prisma AIRS

Palo Alto Networks has announced the availability of Prisma AIRS, a new AI security platform designed to protect an organization’s entire AI ecosystem, including AI apps, agents, model, and data.

It ensures safe adoption of AI by scanning models for vulnerabilities, assessing risks associated with the AI ecosystem (ex. sensitive data exposure or platform misconfigurations), and pentesting AI apps and models.

It also includes capabilities for securing AI agents against threats like identity impersonation, memory manipulation, and tool misuse.
