Tufin announced the launch of Dashboard Essentials, an addition to the Tufin Orchestration Suite. This extension is designed to enhance analytics capabilities for monitoring security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Dashboard Essentials offers customers access to specialized analytics tools, which are crucial for tracking the progress of their security implementations, according to the company. This feature is particularly useful for organizations looking to measure the ROI of their engagement with Tufin. It simplifies the complex task of assessing the effectiveness and financial impact of security solutions, allowing for a more streamlined evaluation process.

“Dashboard Essentials gives customers the tools they need to bridge the gap between initial deployment and the achievement of operational milestones, highlighting successes along the way,” said Hadas Lahav, director of product management, applications at Tufin. “Our security policy management solution has a positive impact on network environments from the start, and this extension helps customers make sure implementation stays on track, while showcasing that value to all stakeholders.”

The extension provides a visual representation of an organization’s network environment, offering detailed metrics in various key areas. These include rule cleanup, risk reduction, compliance, and change management activity. Additionally, Dashboard Essentials enables the generation of PDF reports, which simplifies monitoring progress and communication within the organization.

One of the core functionalities of Dashboard Essentials is its ability to assist organizations in tracking specific security goals. These goals include achieving compliance with regulatory frameworks like PCI DSS 4.0 and NERC-CIP, implementing rule certification processes, measuring and mitigating network risks, and adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) for access and change requests.

Currently, Dashboard Essentials is in beta testing, but additional details are available here.
