SailPoint, an enterprise identity security company, is introducing a new solution to help organizations discover, govern, and secure their growing number of applications.
SailPoint Accelerated Application Management provides continuous application discovery to uncover inventory, ownership, user activities, and risky access patterns. According to the company, this visibility enables IT teams to identify high-risk applications, prioritize governance efforts, and revoke inappropriate access.
The solution cuts down on the time it takes for IT teams to onboard applications into their governance process, which can sometimes be subject to significant delays, SailPoint explained. Admins provide basic authentication details and then the application will handle much of the onboarding using pre-built connectors, eliminating complexity and reducing delays.
Other key capabilities of SailPoint Accelerated Application Management include rapid deployment of access reviews, least privilege enforcement, automated leaver workflows, audit-ready reporting, automated provisioning and deprovisioning, and AI-driven policy enforcement that has controls for Separation of Duties.
