Google Cloud has announced that it is acquiring Chronicle, a security company also created by Alphabet. Google Cloud believes that this partnership will enable it to provide a comprehensive security portfolio that will benefit its customers.

Chronicle offers several solutions that will be beneficial to Google Cloud, such as VirusTotal malware intelligence and Backstory investigation flows.

The Chronicle team will become a part of Google Cloud over the course of the next few weeks, and Google Cloud expects the integration to be complete this fall.

Expedient announces advanced DRaaS solution for VMware clouds 
Cloud company Expedient has announced an advanced disaster recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS) solution. Expedient designed the solution to offer simple, secure, and cost-efficient onboarding, migration, and disaster recovery services for VMware clouds.

Juvare’s new incident management solution
Juvare has announced a new incident management solution that will bridge the gap between the public, private, and healthcare sectors. According to Juvare, incident response tends to be siloed, and there is little coordination across departments.

Juvare Exchange aims to fix this problem by facilitating broader access to information and resources by standardizing methods of data sharing across sectors.
