
Progress Software today announced the release of Progress Flowmon ADS 12.5, the latest version of its advanced anomaly detection system. Flowmon ADS 12.5 introduces AI-driven capabilities that give deep visibility into the network, enabling organizations to more rapidly detect any threats to the system and improve Mean Time to Repair, as well as for proactive defense agains cyberthreats.

The release can provide threat intelligence briefings created from AI-based threat analysis, including descriptions of the threat, strategies to mitigate those threats, and Indicators of Compromise, which show where breaches might be most likely to occur.
When an incident does occur, Flowmon ADS 12.5 offers response guidance to make handling those incidents simpler. Those steps help organizations take such actions as walling off compromised devices or changing security policies.
The release also comes with new visualizations that create an interactive view for deep analysis of events, traffic flows and host interactions, the company noted in the release.
